Deployed BUT Still Writing

Well, everyone. Things have been crazy this year in 2007 so far. If you haven't alreay heard, I'm deployed in support of Iraqi Freedom, but I'm still writing. Currently, I'm editing four short stories for my anthology One Reckless Night, so that I can get it out the door to some editors. I'm also working on a story called To Apprehend a Princess for Phazes Force Heatsheet. It's interesting learning to writing in a tent, but I deal with it. I've learned how to keep myself mentally inspired while I'm out here among all the bugs, animals and other things. LOL! But, I am staying safe and well.
Speaking of Phaze, I found out in January that Santa's Helper was number 1 in sales for December. Thank you all so very muc for your support. I hope you all will like Speed Dating my second erotica, as well as you liked the first one. :) If you haven't seen the trailer for it yet. Check out the last post. Speed Dating is available today 11 Feb 2007. So, drop by Phaze and check out all of the great Heat Sheets and books they have going on. What's New for 2007?

Well 2006 ended very well, I got some great reviews for Santa's Helper from both review sites and on Fictionwise from readers. That warmed my heart. It was great to see what readers thought of my first erotica and their thoughts placed the book number 1 for highest rating for three weeks. Not because I had the most sales, not by a long shot, but because over five readers consistently said it was great. NOW THAT FELT GOOD TO SEE!
Well 2007 is going to mean MORE YVETTE HINES. I have another short story coming out with Phaze for Valentine's Day (Feb 11th). Here's a little sneak peak for you all.
Speed Dating

Jenna Taylor a legal secretary is in love with her deliveryman, Malcolm Douglas. Apprehensive about how to go about getting him to notice her, she begins to order packages daily in an attempt to force his hand. However, three months into the delivery scheme she discovers Malcolm has not caught on and believes she owns a home business. Dejected, Jenna follows the advice of her friend, a Dominatrix, attends a Valentine's Day speed-dating event and embarks on a clandestine adventure she'll never forget. When she meets L’entraîneur (The Trainer) he shows her a completely new side of herself.

Other things that are up and coming. I finished my Anthology One Reckless Night. I'm now editing and getting reading to send it out to different publishers. After that I will begin working on another short story called To Apprehend a Princess, it will hopefully be due out next July with Phaze. I will keep you all posted.
