Chatting with the ladies at J and J...

WOW! AMAZING! Those are the two words I want to use to describe the treatment, turn out and fellowship of the ladies at the Jeanie and Jayha yahoo group. This erotica writing duo can't be beat. I've never laughed so much in one evening on a chat. And fellow authors don't get me wrong, these ladies are no slouches...they are readers. They do their homework on a guest author. A lot of reader groups can learn from them. But, I had a blast. Between Von and Stephanie's dancing around... it was a party up in there. The Mistress of Erotica, Ms. Bridget Midway showed up and flowed with the girls and I. A good time was had by all.

I just have to say, if you haven't picked up a book by Jeanie and Jayha do it. If you are a reader and want to chat with other readers, who read a lot. Join this group of ladies, you will not regret it.

L.A. Banks/Coming Together and more...

Oh, my God everyone,

Has this been my week or what. There are soooo many exciting things that are happening for Yvette Hines. First off,a few months ago Crystal Bright (a romance author) post an open call for submissions. The submission was for an Anthology called Coming Together: At Last. If you know anything about these, Alessia Brio is the editor and brains behind this. She asks authors of romance, poetry and erotica to contribute stories to these anthologies. Only catch is that you get no royalties because the money errand is sent to the charity the book is selected for. For instance... they have done one for Breast Cancer, AIDS, Hurricane victims, Fire victims..and so on. The CT: At Last is for Amnesty International. So, I thought the concept was great and I love a worthy cause so I wrote a story and submitted it. Now, the best news of all is that Ms. LA Banks has agreed to do the opening notes for the book....!! Talk about scream, and jumping up and down. I called all my friends and family and told them. That woman is a Jewel. No matter how big her name gets... she is one of the first authors to help the little people. LA Banks, you are tops.
Now, once I came off that high, to day I found out that my book, One Reckless Night is now IN PRINT at Amazon.com.... Yea, baby. If you loved your eBook copy you and now feel it in your hands (if you're in to that). LOL!
